The Pictures

Hello knifer friends,
A bit of concern has been expressed about the missing pictures. They will be back soon. I've been working on moving the website to a new server and I disabled the pictures on the forums until everything else gets squared away to keep things less complicated.
I was hoping to get everything back to normal today (4th), but I might not get the pictures going again until tomorrow.
You might also run into a few bugs. I hope to get everything straightened out asap.
Isn't the internet fun?
Has anyone else been getting logged out unexpectedly?

Bryan,
I for one really appreciate all your efforts in moving your grand knife site to a different sever more than words can say, this task must be very trying to say the least considering the size of your site! ....You must be a very "SHARP" person indeed, thank you my friend!!!

Bryan can you give us not to bright people an idea about what the move cost YOU ???? and each mo.??
Is this server with the same person?
I not know how to check the ping from this server is it lower?

I have cable and this is lots faster now. I am sure that the people that have dial-up will be very pleased.
Thank you for the
UP GRADE.
Just to let you know I can NOT look up in Schrade Knives yet.(the tab)

Bryan,
I think I speak for 99% of the forum members when I say we really appreciate your efforts

(there is always that 1% that wouldn't be happy if you hung them with a new rope).
You are doing an excellent job. Though I frequent 2 other knife forums. I find AAPK to be the friendliest, best run and easiest to use. It is the easiest forum to post pics in without having to pay money (which I wouldn't mind if, especially for a forum of this quality, but I realize it might be a hardship for some members).
So take you time, fix it up right. In the mean time, we can still post, PM & chat. You are doing good.

Remember the problems you are having with the internet is not your fault! It is all Al Gore's fault. If he had done a better job when he invented it, perhaps it would be easier to use.
Heaven help us it Al ever tries to "fix" the environment.

Bryan,
Anyone that would have a problem with this site, probably shouldn't be here anyway.

Thank you from all of us, for offering this outstanding resource.

I for one am grateful for the opprotunity to play even a small role in its development.

It is beautifully presented and professionally operated. Now if I could just find a way to have all of the knives I wanted drop shipped to me at no cost, "now that would be a web site"
Thank Bryan and keep up the great work, don't hesitate to ask if any of us can be of some assistance.

Thanks fellas

You are the greatest!
I got the pictures back online

A few bugs do remain, but I'm getting close to having everything fixed up.
Please report any issues / problems if you come accross any.
Ken, The only cost on the move was in the form of time. The move is actually going to save $. I now have one server for all of the websites I build and maintain. I'd nead the server if AAPK did or did not exist, so... the added cost to have this site is very little
I just fixed the Schrade section.
Please keep your keen eyes out for other missing stuff
Oh, just for peace of mind. I want you all to know that I make backups of all the great pictures and info on a regular basis. I keep copys in a couple off site locations, so there will never be a problem with lost data. Everything is safe and sound at all times
Thanks!

I am realatively new here but I log on every day. This is a great forum. Thank you Bryan and thanks to all the, (unlike myself), knowledgeable forum members who are ready to share whatever information they have.
