All About Pocket Knives

Hello I have been searching the internet for something like these and have found nothing yet hopefully someone on here could steer me in the right direction. I picked these knives up at an antique store in Cottonwood, AZ. any info would be greatly appreciated.

thanks for the reply but I have been researching these knives and they are not mass produced so I highly doubt that is what these are you may be right about the India thing the only markings on them are what you see.

I meant to reply to this thread earlier.Those look like they are from one of the Middle Eastern countries that may have been sold as a tourist item. I checked through a couple of reference books that I have but couldn't find any particular match.The closest I could find was a knife from a 19th century Bavarian trousse which consists of a knife,fork,and sharpening steel.

I meant to get back to this thread.I was perusing some site and ran across a knife that was very similar to yours and it was made in Uzbekistan.Think it was listing on e-Bay under vintage unusual(or unique)knife. Will check it again.

After KnifeKnut's post, I searched "Uzbekistan knife / Uzbekistan knife images", and found these pictures and some links to a couple "unofficial museums" …
My Uzbeki is a little rusty, but these look very similar to me … at least it's a starting point.

Ray & Paul -- GREAT teamwork on the research. Even a search on Central Asia knives doesn't bring up those knives. You have to specify Uzbekistan. Who would ever think of that? Good job gents.
