A big clunky knife. Doesn't look authentic to me.

Yes, I do believe it is a cockspur knife.

It doesn't appear to be an old knife at all. Handles look new & I don't care for the way they fit with the bolster. The tang stamp is modern.

Looks like a converted electricians knife to me. Handles definetly new and i'd say the reason there's a bit of wobble in the main blade, is that they shaved it to put on the Miller Bros. stamp. And for me, it's always a red flag when they put in a disclaimer that it "could" be a repro, but they just don't know. Glad it's not me paying the $69 it's up to right now! JMHO

99% of cock-spur knives are fake.

Here is a photo of the knife. Maybe we can get Dimitri to comment on the knife.

Something I have always questioned is whether or not this type knife was ever used by cock fighters or not. To me, it just doesn't seem logical to hold that little rascal down and saw off that spur when it could be done in an instant with a pair of nippers of some sort, such as needle nose or dikes or such. Or toenail trimmers used on dogs.
I had one friend who was a serious cock fighter but he has gone on ahead. Are there any cock fighters amongst us? Did anyone ever use this type knife to cut spurs? Do any of us know anyone who fights chickens or have a good friend who does that?
Might make a good article for Knife World for PA or any of us who has some knowledge on the subject.

I know nothing about MB Knives, However That thing to me looks like a monster, maybe made yesterday.... Once again not an expert here other than that knife is far than vintage..... BH

I agree that this knife is not old nor is it a Miller Brothers knife. Knifegirl888 hit it on the head I think. Also a side note, the "Meriden" part of the stamp is too large. Not too long ago I saw a supposed Miller Brothers Cotten Sampler with a similar fit and finish and jigging style. That knife, which I suspect was from the same manufacturer sold for quite a bit more than the $69 this knife is at, unfortunately for the buyer.
