I have been wondering about putting armor-all or wax on the scales of some of my old folders to restore and preserve them. For cleaning and preservation what is the best for celluloid, delrin, bone or stag scales?

They seem to like using Renn. Wax and this goes for the Queen as well. :)

While I agree with all the advice you've been given so far, I've had really good luck on my celluloid knife handles with Ren Wax. Just be sure to seal it up good....everywhere.
