I am looking for a knive to add to my meager collection.
I am trying to find a Case Rattlesnake knife with the snake underbelly jigged on the back handle. I am not too particular about the pattern, just not a bank breaker.
Thanks, Randy.

What's the story on those scales? I've never heard or seen anything like it?

Those scales are absolutely fantastic!

Your guy has a vivid imagination. Case has the only factory ones that I have seen. They are pretty rare.

Yeah Chet those are pretty fantastic! The detail work on the shields is pretty cool too, and how well they are set into the scales, very impressive!

randy i am so sorry to hi-jack your topic.
but thanks guys, i thought they were quite impressive too. i believe he did it with some form of slow setting epoxy allowing him to make the snake designs into those chicken wire type scales. after which he did some painting and set the shields. it did take some quick expertise work on his part. they are well crafted. and they haven't done any form of gassing being that he did these about 5 years ago.
