The ultimate rehab

I just finished this LF&C up for a fellow forum member, as you can see from the photos it was is pretty bad shape. The rocker pin was sheared (from hard use I'm guessing) the main blade was bellied out a bit and the secondary blade was-well look at the pic! I tore it down and cleaned everything up, it snaps good with halfstops now, the main blade had vertical play when open, a little kinking of the spring helped that right out. I did what I could wit hthe old girl, I hope he likes it.

You know the one thing that bugs me about you is that you are younger and can work a lot faster than I can! :mrgreen: :lol:

Seriously, that is one of the best restorations jobs I have seen. You didn't have much to work with and you did an outstanding job! That secondary blade looks almost new, compared to what it was!
