44B dating

Got a new Queen 44B in really nice shape last week.Want to conform the dating of the tang stamp.Is it 1945-48?

Its nowhere near that old. Queen introduced that button lock pattern in the mid 1980's. But that tang stamp was first used in about 1998. It is a fairly rare knife though.

In around 1994 they made a series, 2 sizes , for Smokey Mountain. Those had rosewood scales.
In '95 they made a run of #5175 in wood scales.

Here's a copperhead I got SMKW sometime in the 90s.
No markings on pile side of blade or tang.
That's a great looking knife you have there, Roberts.
