What Is It??

Saw this on ebay. Reckon what it is??? Any ideas?? Chain=11.5 ft., Ring=4 inch in diameter, Knife?=14 inches tip to tip.

TJ, just a wild guess you understand.
Appears to be one of them auction items that
after causing the knee jerk reaction 'what tha...?"
should be scrolled passed as quickly as possible.

Seriously, I recall this being part of the ninja "kit". You could throw the blade out an retrieve it with the chain. Very handy for field dressing animals from a distance...
