All About Pocket Knives

I've heard the expression "spun in" when refering to scale pins and blade hinge pins. Can someone explain exactly what this means and how it's done?

spun in is basically a tool that goes in a press and spins, when it is brought down on to the flat head of the pin it "spins" a head on the end of the pin. They used to peen them by hand in the old days. I peen them by hand, never could get a head spinner to work well.
