All About Pocket Knives

I recently bought a Kissing Cranes Copperhead from a seller on E-Bay. Nice looking knife, stag scales that were well matched, but.....the bottom pin was extremely proud on both sides....to the point that it would hang up in the pocket of my jeans. I had to take a Dremel tool (Yikes!) to it and work it down even with the stag. It now looks and feels fine....like it should have when it left the factory. Just doesn't seem like you should have to work on a knife right out of the gate. I know I could have sent the knife back, but....well....with all the hassle and all, I just figured I could as easily solve the problem myself.

Just wondering, have any of you guys had the same problem, either with Kissing Cranes or other brands?

Kissing Cranes Yes to answer your question.
The last 4 new in box Kissing Cranes I got and do not use have the very same thing. I stoped buying them.
I now am buying Coleman knives in it's place and they must be made in Japan not the china ones. My last one is a CM703ST Stag Sow Belly. WELL worth the money.
I paided $22.50 It will last longer and work harder than the Kissing Cranes of today. IMO
Get one on my say so it will not let you down. Then you compair.

I have a great liking for sowbellies! I'll have to take a look at the Coleman line. Thanks for the heads up.
