Buck 110 "Blued" blade

I am not a Buck expert but picked up a nice 110 the other day with what I would describe as a blued blade. Blued as in a gun barrel. I have done a little searching and have not seen another with a blued blade. This is a new knife so I assume this was a standard production. The back tang has what I would describe as a flame, the letters BOS and CPM. What’s the scoop on this knife and what does the stamping on the back tang indicate?

CPM may be the blade steel but it should have some numbers after CPM

Looks like there may be something but I can't read it in the pic? No idea on BOS? Made in 2010.
It's something new to me? Hopefully someone will shed some light on it?

Good info. Thanks. So is a BOS stamp on Buck knives common or is this some kind of limited edition?
