As I mentioned on another post, the wife and I went to a gun and knife show Saturday. I bought 21 knives there with 18 of them being Fight'n Roosters. I am a fan of Doc Holliday and the Earp brothers so naturally I had to have this one.

Jfarmer I do not see that "This one is called a short boy." in your store for sale.
I like YELLOW and that is lemon yellow.
When will it be for sale?

Wow James great pickup of fantastic Roosters..Which gun & knife show did you hit?? I hope the seller gave you a great deal with the large purchase...
The yellow handle short boy is a nice configuration but the pearl handled doctor with extended bolsters is singing a tune to me..

Thanks guys

I thought y'all might like them. Ken I really havent decided if I want to keep the yellow one or sell it. It is a nice one and it was made before 1982. I got 2 or 3 other colors of that same pattern too. Sunburst I bought all of the knives from 2 different guys and got a decent deal on them. Gunsmoke I've never heard them called spurrin cocks. Thats cool. I always call them kickin' chickens.

Here is what Fight'n Rooster calls a Canittler. I think the handles are buffalo horn but I don't know for sure. They are pretty though.

I should say that the book says only 13 were made in that color. Several different colors were made.
