All About Pocket Knives

Just picked the above Camillus up at the Ohio Gun Collectors Show Saturday. Seems quite old but beautiful bone, it is stamped Camillus and something else under that, I can't make it out. Its an easy open, and a nice old knife. Anyone recognize it?

Can you give us a good close-up of the stamp? Could be either WWII or post WWII depending on the stamp. Four-line stamp is WWII, two-line stamp is post or just post WWII. It is an Easy-open but missing the bail. Here's one that I have that is WWII. Sure got pretty handles. Gotta love Rogers Bone!!

And that Rogers bone is the most beautiful bone, IMO!

Bail or no bail, those are some mighty fine handles right there.

What or how did the vertical lines get on the handle of your beautiful EO? I love that old bone

I don't know Maybe someone just want to mark his knife in case someone loose-fingered it, then he could identify it.

I've got one that is almost identical, but made by Imperial. I think it was my Dad's, who is a WWII Veteran.

Both the Camillus and the Imperial were made to mil. specs. so they should be nearly identicle.
