Buck Fixed Blade

Purchased a Buck "AKONUA" fixed blade knife the other day. Anyone tell me what Akonua means?

"As I understand it, Al Buck & Family went on an extended African Safari in the late seventies or early eighties - the result, upon their return is that they felt that they needed to add large game - specifically, skinning knives to the Buck "line-up."
The result was the "Kalinga" and the 'Akonua." The Akonua, is simply a slimmed down version of the better known, Kalinga. Both names originate from Africa."
