Hey all,

I normally wouldn't ask, but i don't know a thing about remington knives. I have a chance to buy a Sears 100th ann. 1986 remington r-1123 4 1/2 inches long, red bone handle. comes in presintation box. the fellow is asking 100 dollars. Know to me this doesn't sound like to bad a price. but l am a Cripple Creek man.
Also wondering what is a good price guide for remingtons?

Thanks

I'd rather spend $100 on a vintage Remington. But I'm not much for boxes and commemorative stuff.

I believe Camillus made that particular knife for Remington,I could be wrong,I'm not a Remington collector either...sorry I can't be of more help, but I'm sure someone else will have more info for you...I usually use Ebay as a rough estimator for knives.

Camillus indeed made it, I've seen similiar ones going for $75.00 at shows.

Well thanks guys. I think i'll stay away from it and stick with my Cripple Creeks. I was hoping for a quick return. Doesn't look like that was going to happen.
thanks again.

Until next time

Camillus has closed its doors, so like schrade's pick up Camillus where you can. I imagine the name will probably be an import product by next year!
