36 Easy Open

Got a few of these in to check out, and they're pretty sweet! I especially like the Pioneer Bone version, as this handle material is a knock-out!

It is naturally shaped on the exterior, and every piece is different; there are ridges and natural 'canals' included in this beautiful product.
Although it is an 'easy opener', the backspring is quite stiff, and it took a little working and some oil to make it function a little easier. I'll have to check it again after my thumbnail heals up!

You
can actually open the knife without using your nail, however, so I think the spring tension is about right for a knife of this size. Brass liners and NS smooth bolsters complete the package. Overall, I like this pattern and am adding one to my edc line up!

Thanks Guys,
I picked up another EO from Barry this morning, may even be the one he posted in a few posts earlier, I never noticed it until then. I thought it meant "Bonehead"

Couple weeks ago I asked Chris what it "officially" stood for; she says "North American Cow Bone". I said just the cows? You sure it is not "cattle". She said "No, it officially stands for -North American Cow Bone-". So, either they decided to include a little bull, steer, heifer bone in the mix - or they have put out conflicting information

I'm good with whatever they want to call it.

I just wish they'd have put some of that deeply jigged blood red bone (as seen in Barry's 36 above) on the 85 clip blades.

I'm goin' with what the box reads.

Whatever they call it, I am really impressed with the jigging on these big boys!!! The Pioneer bone is also a killer handle material.
