All About Pocket Knives

I just saw a new stockman Colonel Coon on eBay. Says made by Queen.
They have a buy it now price of $140.50 or best offer.
Will the new Coon's make the older ones go up in value? I saw an older one on eBay a few days ago and the bid was to $225 it was for a stag handle congress.
The picture here is one of the original Colonel Coons.

Well it looks like another name to add to the list of knives that have been made by Queen Cutlery...Hey Tom I sure wish you would go ahead and purchase that knife so you can give us a first hand appraisal of it's quality...

I would want verification before adding Col Coon to the list - that stockman does not resemble Queen made based on the tooling - looks more like Camillus (although they are gone now) or perhaps Utica. PRice would be another indicator as Queen made would be higher $$.

I misunderstood Tom...I see now that the pic posted is one of the original CC's which would fit the tooling and appearance.

I did look on Ebay and saw several new CC's in stag that were definitely made by Queen as the seller states.

In my correspondence with CAMCO, the former historian of Camillus Cutlery, he sent me some photos of Col. Coon knives that had parts made by Camillus. Here is a copy of something from the Cutlery to Adrian Harris.

I am the seller of the knife in question. It has now been sold. I do hope that nobody was trying to imply that I was deceptive in my description. It is indeed made by Queen Cutlery and is a super high quality pocket knife just like all other Queen made knives.

Sunburst I figured you knew who the seller was Here is a very poor pic of the tang stamp. I take my pictures outside and it was too dark outside to be taking pictures. I guess I need to build a light box so I can take pics anytime. The tang stamp in the pic is from one that I kept for my self.

No complaints on the tang stamp picture It's much appreciated. It's also great to know that these are made by Queen Cutlery. I do kinda miss the coon with walking stick on the shield though.. But not enough to stop me from wanting one of those beauties...

Your stag in that picture is impressive, I like how deep that stag goes and how it carries all the way to the bolster...

Wow!! Thanks James, that is a great looking specimen you have there. I am rather impressed with the quality of the stag used on these knives. It reminds me of the early Fight'n Rooster knives in the 80's where the stag seemed to be an excellent batch.
