Store Sales Cards, Displays & Stock

Thought I would show some of the things that survived and I have gathered over the years.
There are old stock boxes, blister packs, counter sales cards and display cases.

This first one is what brought me to AAPK after standing on the outside for a couple years.
It was the Imperial 883 that was supposed to be in the bottom of this display that I had given up on finding.
"Glennbad" fixed that problem for me and was the first to show me the AAPK community love.
(Thanks Glenn! ::handshake:: )

Please share yours - it will be nice to see them - originals or reproductions, whatever you may have.

:D

The stamp on this knife dates to 1945 - 1955.
How in the world did it survive untouched all these years???

Guess that's part of what attracts me to stuff like this.

I also have a display like Joe's, and although this is an old pic, I do have the missing knife.

It just so happened that I was working on mine at the same time. I might be mistaken, but I thought it might have been Joe that sent me the 859 I was looking for. I don't remember, though... :x

Joe, I have a question for you - are the cardboard displays with the shell knives being reproduced? I saw one for sale at a collectibles store in VA, red card, about ten USA tang marked Barlow shells (red handles) - all overwrapped in clear plastic for $100.00. It looked so new I left it there, but would go back for it if no one is reproducing them. Thanks, OH

WoW Glenn!

I'm seriously wanting one of those party knives to play with! ::woot::
AND I'm jealous over the NOS Jack-master! NICE FIND! ::woot::

Hay OH, there's NOT anyone selling reproduction cards on the open
market that I am aware of. Sounds like you might have really found something!! ::nod::

The 1 doz. card in this pic was a gift from Old Hunter! ::groove:: He just had to get them TarHeels
out of his town... :lol:
(thanks Bruce! ::handshake:: )

The 1/2 doz. card is a recent purchase and confirmed that the card OH sent me was indeed a Prov. Cut. Co. product.
Seller said it is from 1962... but I think BOTH cards are closer to 1972.
I scanned the sticker on the "fake button" fish knife card and recomposed & printed it to fit the jack knife card.

Great cards, Mark! I went back to the store to get the "Topsy" card and it was gone! ::tear::
Congrats to whoever got it! ::tu::

Check this 1952 Imperial "Change Maker" display out! I feel VERY lucky to have found it.
