All About Pocket Knives

I have 2 Russell Barlows - both say U.S.A. under the R with the arrow thru it.

Question: Will they all say that, or could some not say U.S.A., just the R with the arrow???

I'm not an authority on the subject, just a collector. I think you will find that the older Russell knives just have Russell in a straight line on them. Then the newer ones will have Russell / R with an arrow through it / USA on them. There may be other tang stamps as well.

Thanks "Just Bob" - no one seems to know much about Russell Barlows on this forum, but your comment helps alot. i wish now I would have bought that one I saw without the USA on the tang. Next time I go to the Gun Show, if that guy is there and still has it, its mine.

IIRC there are a bunch of Russell Barlows there, both old & newer.
