I didn't start out being a Remington Collector. Over time, we kept running into one great Remington after another. Remington knives just demand attention.

Sweet knives! That bone Bullet Trapper is striking and the EO grabbed my attention. I bet when the sun hits that pearl it looks like a rainbow. ::tu::

That's just a WoW lineup. You've managed to snag some beauties Kathy. The condition on those looks great.

I want to thank you all for the nice comments! I thought you might like to see them opened. The EO & the Dollar Knife with the covered backspring are in unused condition. The dogleg, the jumbo sleeveboard & the bullet knife still have partial etches on them, even though they have seen action. Remingtons are becoming addictive... ::nod::

Beautiful knives, Kathy.
That muskrat caught my eye. Does it have an unusually wide backspring?
I hope you don't mind some pictures of mine for comparison.

Joe,

I don't mind at all. It looks like you have a nice one! It is a great picture also. Bret doesn't like my scanner much, but it is fast and simple.

Yes, it does have a single wide spring, for both blades. We do not have a lot of Muskrats to compare, but the Kutmaster and Wards, (whick looks like Utica made as well) have much thinner springs, and tangs to match. Bret found one of the 77OT Old Timers he carried for most of his life, and the late Robeson, that have 2 springs, and it looks like Case used 2 also, but we do not have one to picture.
