I have an 08 but it hasn't been used it's just an older one if thats what you want to call old.... but I will say this... The wax paper shows serious signs of wear probably cutting the value by 15% are you still interested?

can ya measure wax content???? how thick is that wax paper.....please measure in mil thickness,etc etc.....lololololol
number of creases and tears help......and color helps a ton please use 2013 color wheel...
and do the ol wax paper test: rub vigerously on yer jeans and SNIFF.....TELLS AGE

OKay, I was wrong This knife doesn't come with wax paper or a tube so I can't do your test (sorry) but It does come in a box which should raise the value a bit because boxes are easier to stack than tubes ( I like stacks of knives ) If you are dead set on having pretty wax paper for a "USED" knife then I suggest you get some reynolds wax paper from wallyworld and if you want the tube you can dig it out of the dumpster... oh yeah, The knife is NOT used just an older GEC made in 2008
