I REALLY like the new Calico bone from GEC. Heres mine....

cbnutt that is the new pioneer jack in the pic. basically the 23 pattern with a pen blade.

I like the Calico bone best when it looks like the one on the 79 whittler on the left. It reminds me a lot of the appaloosa bone which is another favorite.

It reminds me of the Apaloosa bone as well … which I always have thought was beautiful.

beautiful handle material

This is my GEC #79 Montana Workhorse Whittler (not a true whittler in a collectors sense) in Calico bone. I like this bone and think it looks better on a knife with broad rather than narrow covers.

I also have a Montana workhorse with Calico handles, they seem to be popular. I EDC mine. Have to figure out how to post pictures, just starting.
