All About Pocket Knives

Could you please help me with info and maybe date on this one......Oh yeah what is the small pointed blade?

I don't know much about the Utica brand but I do know that the pointed blade, as you call it, actually is a Punch blade.
Used to do Tac/leather work for horse bridles/harnesses.

Sometimes alternately referred to as an awl. As Perry said, left over from the days when horses were the major source of transportation and work. I wonder how often they get used today but they keep putting them in the scout/utility/camping knives. Nostalgia?

Rick, the pattern you have there is a Cattle Knife.

I tried to pin down a date range for the "Utica" tang stamp but was unable to do so. Goins says that Utica began using the "Kutmaster" stamping in 1937 and that stamping eventually replaced all other stampings used by Utica, but unfortunately it does not say how long they continued to use the "Utica" stamping before they stopped doing so.

That curved Utica mark is usually on knives before 1937, this is according to Goins' and others.

Are the 2 blades marked the same? Not the punch.
