RedRider, that is two different deer, two different seasons (but both deer about 100 lbs.) Here is another year (around 2009), another knife - helping one of my hunting partners skin his deer, I'm using a Marbles drop-point this time. OH

Hey Trev, how'd the black bear turn out. It was a year or so ago that you killed the bear, right. Sure would like to see what you've done with it.

GREAT idea for a thread! ::nod::
Top pic is from last year of me bringin' a section of venison into the cabin for further butchering on the table, using our camp Old Hickory Skinner as a transport tool...
Next pic is my brother using the same Old Hickory skinner to skin his buck from this year's bowhunt...
And the last pic is of me in the deer blind with my Case large stockman...used it as an edc on this year's hunt.

This one isn't exactly a "huntin' knife at work" shot...but it is from Deer Camp, so I'm gonna go for a strectch and hope it still fits! This is me goin' over some of my nephew's knives with him at camp last year...examining the fine edge on what I think is a small Buck fixed blade..
(and yes, I'm aware of my striking resemblence to Elmer Fudd in that hat...but it sure is toasty warm with those ear flaps! )

Mike, I think that picture fits fine in this thread, the hat, well, I'm not so sure.............seriously whatever works, right!

Dogg, I can see your influence at work - look at all 'dem Bucks!

IM, cleaning a bear with a Copperhead is a new one on me - bet Case never imagined that use when they built you knife - cool!

I am chasing one big buck right now (glad I always drop my meat deer early) - hope to have a skinning/butchering picture before the season is out (pulled out a Randall #26 to use if I drop that big boy!)

Ps I've got an Old Timer 8OT I bought from Scott (Triple F) in my LFP while out hunting, and have also carried my Buck 301 - funny how a Stockman seems to be the EDC of choice among deer hunters.
