All About Pocket Knives

Does anyone know a reputable person who does repair / tune up work on Italian Switchblade / Stiletto knives?

An LEO friend has one that feels like the spring is twisted, kinked, or somehow in the way when you close it, so it makes a kind of "crunching" sound and feels kinda rough at the end of the closing cycle … fires quick and locks up solid, just feels like too much resistance to closing and like I said there's a metallic "crunch" when you get to the point of detent.

I have no clue about these knives, but thought maybe someone here might "know a guy" …
