two rems

found these at a yard sale...
old one has a broke clip, damaged scale...umc in circle.
the new one is just cute..three blade swell center

Nice score, the older knife looks like an R1823.

thanks, the pattern number is rubbed out...so i didn't know. it is a two blade..both pivot at the main blade end.

Actually the R1823 probably never had a pattern number. Of the many I've seen, I can only recall two or three that had pattern numbers. These knives were a popular premium and I don't think that Remington put pattern numbers on them.
