All About Pocket Knives

When I frist saw this something in my gut said watch out, but I put a bid in and won it. Now that it's in hand I should have gone with my instinct and passed. Blade is legit...a four line but what it came out of I have no idea. I have no clue on the frame, it's 4 1/4" with what I'd call pick bone, but it's been buffed to death. The lanyard hole never did make sense to me, a strange place to put it. You can see light through the entire knife even at the front bolster, but the blade is tight and has no movement and has good snap.

Anyway I thought you would like to look before it head's back...your opinion's on this would be appreciated.

Looks like it would make a good user at least. How much did you pay for it?

I think with the space between the bolsters and the blade the knife would loosen up with any use.

Is the space between the blade and bolsters the only problem you see, other than questioning the origins of the frame?

That's one of the problem's Dale, I also think the blade has been re-profiled to fit the frame. The dimension between the liner's taper's from the front to the lower bolster's, hard to see in the pic's but it's there. This knife came from a seller in Oregon, you may know of them...selling alot on knives on the bay. I'm sure this re-work was done many years ago.

Well it's not the first time I've "Steped in It"....hope it's the last....

I contacted the seller's and the knife will be returned.
