All About Pocket Knives

Well, I have managed to scrap together most of the series and am still looking to spot the first Abalone toothpick. Anyone have one for a poor fellow American who's down on his luck?

These are some beautiful knives. I wouldn't mind having one myself. here is some pics, don't show a toothpick. Do you have all of these beauties???

Yes, I have all of these but the toothpick now. In all the time I have been looking, I have seen only 1 complete set go to auction on eBay. I have seen all of them but the toothpick in the last 18 months or so. I started putting the set together around then. BTW, there is an Anglo-Saxon whittler that knifestuff doesn't picture that is the next hardest one to find. I have that one too.

The guys at knifestuff were where I got about half of the ones that I have and also seller jrushw4 on eBay. Picked up a couple more randomly at eBay auctions. Hope I happen up on the toothpick one of these days. It would make a stunning set.

I haven't decided whether to try to get the big display knife yet. Not abalone. http://www.knifecenter.com has 3 different ones but $600 bux is a bunch.

The vast bulk of my own knife collection is made up of 5" and larger texas toothpicks-- powderhorns. I have a couple of the nice Wincheser celluloid abalones, and it is cell abalone and the real stuff, along with MOP, that I really look for. If I run into the one you are seeking, Ill let you know. One knife show in particular I attend in April just might. The second one I find will be for me.
