LOL! :lol:

Picked up my first fixed blade knife. Well actually it's my second one because our friend Georgi sent me a sweet custom fixed blade for Christmas in 2019. I'll take some pictures of that one & post them tomarrow. I really like it and enjoy seeing & holding it but it's too long for me to carry here in Germany. I guess that was the knife that planted the seed so to speak.

Anyways, I decided I needed a smaller one to carry when I go for walks with my dogs. ::nod:: It has an overall length of 7 1/8" and a blade lenght of 3 3/8". Handles are camel bone & wood. Fit & Finish are really very nice. Can't wait till the snow melts so I can take it out for a walk. ::nod::

Thanks for looking friends! ::handshake::
Looks great! Now strap on that knife, pull on die Stiefel and get out there for a walk in the snow!❄❄😂
Hi Steve,

The sun was out so I strapped it on and took it & the dogs for a walk in the snow today. I'll be honest about it though, it just didn't feel right. ::shrug:: Felt like somebody who had seen too many Rambo movies. ::facepalm:: It's a pretty knife and all that but I don't think I'll be buying any more of them right away. I figured out that it's not my style. The whole time I was hoping nobody would see me with it on. ::paranoid:: :lol: But that's ok cause now I know. ::tu:: Think I'll have to try a mid sized folder on my belt. See how that looks & feels. ::hmm:: Maybe I'll like that more. ::shrug::

Truly beautiful knives Gary! ::tu:: You simply have the best taste in knives! I'd never seen a Randall with white handles before, but now that I have I really like them! Thanks for sharing those with us! ::handshake:: 8)

The white one is Ivory Micarta was carried by a solider in Desert Storm. I understand they don't do the Ivory Micarta anymore. The one next to it is Black Micarta fairly new. The next one is Leather Handle dates from about 1958 to 1963 from what I can tell. The small one is from the early 60's also. Thanks for the comment

Basically a NOS square handle unmarked Ruana Fighting Knife made by Rudy Ruana in the late 30’s early 40’s.

buckshot 22, That is a unique and very special Ruana. All the more so if you have solid provenance for this knife.
