All About Pocket Knives

I have had eye problems with my left eye, a hole in my Retina, dead center in the Macula. Plus I have glaucoma in both eyes. I have had both for twenty years or more. I did have good periferial vision in my left eye.
Well I woke up a couple days ago, I could see the hole and it was red in color, never seen that before. I knew something was really wrong.
So I went to my eye Dr. the next day, he did an exam. Said " the retina is detaching" I have to go see the retina DR asap. He got me in to see the specialist that day within a hour or so.
Well things got worse and worse, now I see nothing in that eye at all.
I am going in for surgery early next week. This sucks, I had a surgery years ago when the vitrious pulled from the retina and made the hole.
I just hope and pray things go well.

I am back home. The Dr. said "it went well"
It is patched, and is quite sore.
Now I have to keep looking down nose to the ground 50 min of every hour.

update:
The surgery went well on Tuesday, a bit painful but not too too bad.
Next day I woke up and had a major head ache. I had an apt with the DR. so I told them it felt like my head is going to explode.
My eye pressure was twice what it should be and I was lucky to not be throwing up too.
Sooooo the had to get the pressure down. Guess how.....
yup a needle in the eye He drained some of the gas bubble they put in.
Next day comes have another Dr. apt and yup... another head ache.
Well you know the drill.................... Ouch.
Next day had another apt. minor headache, pressure is normal
It was just the wife nagging me headache.
They took a look in the eye, things looked good.
I do have some vision back, but it will take several weeks to really see how good it is. Right now it is blurry and I see the bubble in there moving around.
