A friend of mine asked if i could find any information on a bear hunter. The Knife is about 4" shut with white handles with a pointed butt and is a lock blade. I would appreciate any feed back. Thanks!

Welcome!

Probably gonna need a picture, or it's mostly guessing.

Just in case (no pun intended), if you mean Bear Cutlery, here is one offering from their current lineup...

Not it? Pictures would help.

Hi and welcome to AAPK. I am not sure who imports Bear Hunter knives but they are made in Pakistan and the main blade is tang stamped Bear Hunter on one side and Solingen Steel on the other side and they have a very tiny etch right below the nail nick usually that says Pakistan. I have seen hundreds of these knives and alot of disreputable flea market dealers/sellers buff the Pakistan etch off of the blade and sell these knives as German made to the uninformed consumer. Almost every one of these knives I have seen have had natural white bone handles. I hope that helps you out to some extent.

I Have one of these Bear Hunter Lock Back knives that has brown wood handles. The Pakistan would come off easy. ::drool:: Someone gave this knife to me. He was selling them for 10.00 which he was making a good profit at that. Not a bad knife though, pretty tight and the steel looks good. Not a collector for most though by any means.

I am looking for a Damascus bear hunter knife since very long time but couldn't able to find the perfect one. Please recommend me any good store from where I can get the perfect knife.

I do not know who sells them - as stated before, I also have really only seen them at flea markets and eBay.
I would recommend a different brand altogether. The Bear Hunters that I have seen are cheaply made with poor steel. I do not believe that you will be happy owning one.
