Who else owns one?

I just received my first - a Fallkniven Idun (aka: Northern Lights 5, or NL5).

Man, what a classic piece this is. Stacked leather handles, laminated 420J over VG-10 steel, full convex grind, scalpel sharp, and the fit and finish are among the best I've seen …

Pictures up in next couple days. First impression is this is a knife you have for life. Beautiful.

Anyone else have any experience with the brand, possibly have owned one for a while? Very interested to hear …

Thanks guys,
Edge

I sharpened a couple of them for friends, tried two (A1 and F1) out field-dressing wild hogs, and got to use one (A1) for a couple months; they seemed like very nice working tools. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend one: I'm not sure even my little brother could damage one.

If I somehow suddenly lost all my user fixed blade knives, the A1 (or a bare blade that I'd handle) would be a leading candidate as a replacement. They're easier to find that some of the older stuff I use now--but I've used some of those knives for most of my life, and change is hard!
