All About Pocket Knives

I just received my Coleman 4.25" engraved "First Production Run", blue bone, AUS 6, Seki Japan, five blade sowbelly knife. It has the lantern tang stamp.

This knife looks and fells SUPER for a production knife. Hukk can I send you this to look at and tell us your option? Witch I do honor lots. I am not a PRO like you are. I think the steel AUS 6 is good cuz my SOG knives us it. Sunburst and jfarmer get one let us know what you think too please.
Hak I fell so strong about it all AAPK check it out even if it was made in JAPAN.

Does any one here have one? If so please add your thoughts.

The one in the middle here is a Coleman Congress, etched First Production Run. Although I haven't used it, it is a well done knife, just as yours appears to be.

Since Japan made knives seem to be quite collectable these days and have moved into the area of if it's from Japan it must have quality, does this make your knives more collectable than say the ones made in China???

I would like to see more of those knives..

here is a silver knight I have, made is seki japan, for gerber actually a very well made knife, I have another in wood and it's very nice as well I carry it from time to time.


BTW: the MOP one here is mint and I'm looking to trade it if anyone is interested

Japanese knives are by far better knives than Chinese.Therefore more collectible.

That's the impression I have gotten also JohhnieRotten, the quality has always seemed right up there and watching how other collectors respond to the Japanese made knives has indicated that as well. Nice knife by the way..

The truth is I only have 5 knives in my collection, I just keep switching them up back and forth to fool you guys into thinking I have a bunch of knives..

The Miami boat show has run its course, I believe it ended last weekend..I looked for that check in the mail to buy your new yacht but it never came so you'll have to wait until next year.
