Queen customer service

Gents,

As part of my trading I had done I ended up with an older queen #32 congress in red bone. The knife was in pretty good shape but had a little wobble in a sheepsfoot blade. I wanted to know a date as well, so I wrote out a letter asking Queen to look it over and see what they could do about the wobble. I had to follow up several times ia email for updates, but yesterday I learned the Queen was coming home! Here's the neat part: my Queen is not a Queen! It appears someone used the blades into a different frame. I never knew! But because of the month long wait and the fact that Queen couldn't fix it they're sending me a replacement knife as well. I gotta tell you, that's some seriously good customer service, and unexpected. I will buy more queen products in the future, even with the d2 steel issues I had.

I will post pictures of the knife upon the return.

Best,
Tab

I've dealt with Queen staff several times by phone and trips to factory store. They have been conistently helpful, easy going and willing to talk knives to a newbie. If you get the folks at Ontario knives, they are polite, but you will probably soon ask to get the Titusville contact. Ms. Jenny Moore is the best - very knowledgable!
