Brian Yellowhorse custumized

Would like some help in pricing a Yellowhouse that started out as mini trapper. He completely redid the bolsters and such in carved silver. Did hand file work on the blades and lazer etched the main blade with Mammoth Ivory 1/10. His signature is undereneath. After some research found that the 01/10 means it is one of ten made as the knife was made in 1997. I was wondering with the mammoth scales, the one in ten number, his name and all, just what could this kniffe be worth?

I would say the sky is the limit.I would suggest that you post some pic's and some one will no doubt have some idea of what they sale for.Also you said it started as a mini trapper but what kind "IE Case,Rough Rider". That will have a lot to do with the price no matter who did the other work on the knife.Brian Yellowhorse's knives are prized by collectors the world over.

Sorry about that. It started out as a Case. think i bought it originally from Smokey Mountain Knife Works. I will be sending photos soon.

If I remember correctly....Red Hill Cutlery had those particular knives with a "Truck" shield made...SFO.

Johnnie, good call you were right on. They had him make them in groups of 10 from tini trappers and tiny toothpicks.
