I picked up my first true custom slipjoint this week. A Bill Ruple Copperhead ATS-34 Blades, 3 3/8" , dovetailed stainless steel bolsters, amber stag bone scales with half stops.

Beautiful knife, did you specify how he did it or buy the finished product?

Looks to me like we all just upped our level a notch and our goals to have a UNIQUE knife like this MAGNIFICENT LADY.
What will you call her?

Hi Dave,
The truth is I have been naughty but haven't got caught yet...

thank you for the nice compliments, I have wanted a Ruple for sometime but funds have not allowed me. I may have to enjoy this one for sometime...
Tank,
I bought this as an already finished product, I hear that the waiting list for his stuff is like 3-5 years. I am much too impatient to wait that long..
Ken,
You are correct it does look like taste are changing, maturing and moving up a notch for folks. I wonder if that is the natural movement among longtime knife collectors..? I just think it's a love for all these great looking knives old & new, customized & factory that keep us aquiring..Thanks..
