Robert Klaas knife w/only one crane?

I have to stop going into antique shops. Yesterday when I bought the Ulster and the Kutmaster there was another knife there that was kind of interesting but way overpriced(maybe?). I appeared to be a very cheaply made knife with wood scales and thin blade with just front bolsters. The stamp on it was Robert Klaas Solingen Germany in an oval and there was only one crane instead of the usual two.
Has anyone seen a Klaas knife with this stamp and if so do you know the approximate time it was used? I'm thinking that this may have been possibly pre-1900. I'll have to examine it more closely this weekend.
