CASE 6299 SHR - A Few Questions

I have a question about this knife I would like to ask. Here are a few pics of it . . . Let me know. Thanks for the help. I know this is a 6299SHR, but does anyone have any idea of its value? Also, how many different 6299's did Case make? I have another one (exactly the same handle but different blades) that is also a 6299 1/2. It also says Case Tested on the tang. But it has a clip blade and a pen blade. This one has the bigger blade (is it called a Sheepfoot?) and a littler blade that's a lot fatter than a pen blade. What sort of blade is that? It also has a little nub to assist in opening. Any new information about the model #6299 or about this knife would be appreciated.

Thanks.

the 99 frame has several variations. the small blade on your knife is a can opener. the 1/2 on your other 99 indicates a clip blade. your knives are valuable. the sh on your knife means sheepfoot anf the r means bail.

Your 6299 SHR has a present book value of 650.00 in mint condition, they usually sell around 400.00 or so. Yours looks to be in great condition except it appears that the blades were sanded down and buffed out. I say that because of the way the stamp looks...see how you can barely read the word Case, looks like someone sanded on it pretty hard. The other 99 patterns made during that time period (1920-around 1945) were as follows:
3299
3299-1/2
6299 Greenbone
6299-1/2 Greenbone
6299 Rough Black
6299-1/2 Rough Black
6299-1/2 Rogers Bone (never seen one myself)
5299 Stag
5299-1/2 Stag
6299 SHR

I think that covers it...

Thank you for the information. Most valuable. I appreciate it. I knew the blades had been buffed - I was most disappointed to see that. Otherwise the knife is in good condition. Can you tell me what that typically does to the price? Does it make it completely uncollectible? Or does it just put a dent in its value? Thanks again.
