Prayer Request For Aimus Moses & Family

I just got a sad PM from Aimus Moses. His mother passed away from Leukemia. His dad is taking it pretty hard, as is the whole family I guess. To top it all off, Aimus’ wife’s doctor called two days before his mom died to tell them he wants to run more tests on her because the doc thinks she (Aimus wife) has Leukemia.
Aimus asked me to “Please ask all the guys to pray for my family, my Father and my wife especially.”
Aimus said he didn’t know when he will be back on AAPK. I think he is just overwhelmed at the moment.

Please pray for Aimus, his dad and family and especially his wife. Pray that the Lord would give Aimus strength to be a pillar for them all and particularly for his wife. I think it is very important that we support Aimus in our prayers. He will receive strength from that.

God bless you all,
Dale

I got a PM from Aimus yesterday.
He & the entire family is still struggling.
Not only has his mother passed away of Leukemia, but his wife has been diagnosed with Leukemia as well.
Also his father-in-law is in pretty bad shape, he was taken to the hospital with a collapsed lung.

His father-in-law is not a believer, so he would appreciate prayers for his salvation.
Aimus thinks he doesn't have long left to live.

Aimus did send a message to all of you:
Aimus Moses wrote: Tell all the guys hello for me and thank them for me for their prays and continued prayers. We sure can use them. I'll try to get on the forums when I can.
Many of you know what a blow it is to lose a parent who you were close to, but to have your wife diagnosed with the same illness that just took your mother must be devastating. Then add to that the health problems of his father-in-law! Poor Aimus must feel like ht is at the end of his rope!

Your prayers for Aimus and all of his family will be greatly appreciated!

This is really sad to read. Makes you wonder sometimes what God's master plan is, cause I wouldn't think this would be part of it.

Don't pray as much as I should, but I'll be sure to say a few for Aimus and his family.

I think life is like a highly detailed mural painted on the side of a building that is a block long & two stories high.
To really see what the mural is all about you have to stand a block away to see the whole thing.
Unfortunately our view of life is like looking at the mural from three feet away on the sidewalk. From that perspective we can't see what it is really about.

I want to thank all of you great folks here on AAPK for your prayers and continued prayers for my family and me. In all my years I never knew life could ever be this hard or how much one person could withstand in this life. I hope and pray that my Father-in-law will seek his Lord and Savior before he leaves this world because he doesn't have much time left. He's a good man that loves his family. I ask that GOD will open his eyes to what he needs to do to see Heaven. As I told Dale, my Mother was on her death bed with all of her family around her and with her last few breaths of air she said "Children, Satan can take everything I've got and everything I will ever have but he can not take my GOD from me!". She had a mountain of faith in her GOD. I hope I can have just a thimble full of the faith that she had. I'm praying that my GOD doesn't take my Wife from me. I don't know if I could make it in this world without her. I try to be there for her to lean on because she has did that soooo many times in the past for me. She is very scared and worried, not just about herself but about her Father. She asks GOD to please not take her from her children and to help her Father. It's really hard to hold up with all this pressure. I keep wondering what I've done to have caused all this to happen and asking GOD to forgive me for whatever it was and not make my family pay for something I've done. My son's, daughter, and a neighbor (who's a great friend) have been trying to keep me busy to occupy my mind and get it off all these things. Please keep praying for my family. They can sure be used. Thank you all so very much and may GOD BLESS each and everyone of you.

Sincerely,
Aimus

Aimus, even though it seems like the weight you carry is almost crushing, keep in mind that God never gives you more than you can handle.

You know all of us are supporting you in spirit.

I think the answer to that question is nothing!

God is a loving Father to us, his children. He does not sit around waiting for us to make a mistake so he can smack us upside the head. We all sinned many times over and instead of smacking us upside the head, he sent his only son Jesus to take the punishment in our place!

The Bible says we have all sinned (Romans 3:23). It also says; "The wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." (Romans 6:23)
The penalty for our errors has already been paid by Jesus. He died on the cross for our sins. No purpose is served if God punishes you or your family for something you have done. That won't save you or them; Jesus has already done that! God is not a sadist who takes pleasure in hurting his children; he is a Loving Father who takes great joy in blessing his children!

In my own life I have found the times of greatest trials can also be the times of greatest blessing when I let go of those things that are beyond my control anyway, and allow God to work in the situation. If I keep hanging on to it God can't be in control and do the work He wants to because I keep getting in the way.

It's not an easy thing brother but you can and will make it through with God's help.
We will keep you in our prayers!

Aimus,

My wife was diagnosed with aml leukemia at age 31 pregnant with our second child. She is in remission now- my little girl just went to sleep. She 16 months old now. Only through God did we make it through. Trust in Him, though the path looks hard.

You have my prayers. I have been there as care support. ISA 40:31
