Was thinking about getting one of the 73 pattern fixed blade knives, and would like to know about the canoe and the bird and trout patterns. How is the spine thickness on these knives, are they stout.Mostly used for dressing and boning deer and camp use. Thanks for any info

Just the one so far but there will be more in my future

Great looking set Gino. I've only gotten these 3 so far. The H23 and H73 in the first pic have fat stag while the second H73 is less so.

I was just discussing fixed blades with Ricky and I just thought I would bump this thread to see if anyone picked up a new GEC fixed blade recently.

I picked up a pair of the micarta #73s a while back and most recently I got a H10 which I have to admit I like more than I thought I would.

Those fixed blades are beautiful, need to get one from GEC someday.....the H10 is cool looking and it looks like the sheath is extra stout.
