was needing some info on a flylock knife co made by challenge knife

sorry no pics

it is 4 and a 1/8 long
rounded top bolsters
sheeps foot blade

checkered slide lock

drilled bolster

rough black handles

maybe be military contract

ex-lint condition


need price range thanks

yes but has flylock stamped in script and blade is more like pruner than sheepsfoot

Here's a page from Mark Erickson book Antique American Switchblades. The "Mint" price is probably high in todays market but at least you have an idea.

It may have once been a Hawkbill ?? Flylock Knife Co offered a Spear blade in the 5" size but not sure if they offered it in the smaller ones. I'm not real sure what Challenge Fly-lock may have offered in the 4 1/8" ? The pic in the last post from Mark's book is of "Flylock Knife Co. " as well as my hawkbill. I have a Challange in the 4 1/8" but its like the other pictured with the clip blade.
