Snagged one of these the other day, nice little knife. Weird that it doesn't have a tang stamp, but apparently these were made at the end of Camillus' run, with parts left over from other series. Anyone know anything more than this ?
I'd like to find a few more, if there are different scale / pattern combos. I can't find anything else about these on the web.

I had a few of those I have sold or traded.
You are correct, they were made near the end of Camillus.
It appears the tang stamp on some were ground off and replaced with a tang etch marking, though it appears yours only has the blade etch.
Tom Williams (CAMCO) told me they etched some tang stamps that had been made for other companies.

Do we know if they made other patterns or different scales ? Could have sworn I saw one in smooth black delrin on eBay, but I missed it.

I have seen considerable variation in the color from light brown & yellow to darker than the one you posted.
But I have not seen one with smooth scales, though there very well may have some made that way.

TJ, I have your knifes twin brother - if I remember correctly it originally comes from Dale's AAPK store. Also the one etch on the main blade and the ground off tang stamp. I'll load a pic a little later.

Thanks Chief, I got lucky on that one - it is near mint and for being made near the end of their existence, and probably from other knives' parts, the fit and finish is really very good!
