Nice work!

I can't imagine grinding something harder than stone is fun but it certainly look rewarding. I'll send you the next sperm whale tooth I find and see how you like that.

Can't be much worse than this stuff. hard as glass while other layers are soft as ivory and brittle as all get out

lapidary equipment would be nice but if you're patient standard tools will work (belt sander, buffer ect)

Thanks, Kaleb. The tools, i've probably got covered. Not so sure about the patience, though. Still like to give it a try sometime. The work you do is always an insipation to try new things and do a little better.
