John, it's a good looking knife and I can understand why you want one. Unless you're looking to trade or get it a little cheaper there's one for sale right now on eBay -- http://www.ebay.com/itm/Winchester-USA- ... 519f583e94

I think it's even listed by one of our members here. North 40 Cutlery? It's new, no box. He has it listed at the "North end" of what they usually go for but it's free shipping. (standard disclaimer: Not my knife, not my auction, I have no dog in the hunt)

I did quite a bit of research on availability and prices before I bought mine and had never seen one with pearl handles but there is one of the pearl models for sale in an AAPK member's store. Wow. A must have if you're into pearl and have the $$$$.

You've probably looked at all those so I'm hashing over old news but ya never know so just in case...

John,
Well, I can't find the mint one I thought I had. I guess I either dreamed it or maybe I sold it.
The only one I have is listed in my store and it is an early one from 1920 to 1940. There is a link at the bottom of this page. If it is of interest to you, let me know and I'll make you the best price I can.

Ray, that is a real beauty and if I were a man of means, I'd take that one off your hands in a New York minute. But alas...

Thanks Jerry.
The knife has an elegance to it. Very nice and fancy top bolsters and the coffin bolsters on the bottom just set it off. ::tu:: ::tu::
If John isn't interested, I can work out a lay-away plan if you'd like to.

I've got a Bluegrass Cutlery one from the late 80's or early 90's with black jigged bone in the box. If you're interested, just come up with a good trade.

Keen Kutter called it a 'Gun Stock Jack' but when it was reproduced in 1987 the Winchester W15 2921 was called a 'Coke Bottle Jack'.

I wanted one for quite some time before I finally got one. This is one knife that did not disappoint. This one and the 2857 Teardrop Jack.

Yeah, Wosey's pictures are much better than mine and can make ya drool over an old rust bucket. When it's a picture of one like the 2921, it just makes ya go nuts. Post it when ya get it.

I just realized I have one of them; a 2921 GS from 1992 in goldstone. 3 1/2" with unique bolsters, I just thought it was a medium coke bottle. Way cheaper than the Tony Bose designed Case coffin jacks, I think I paid $105 for it on e-Bay 3 or 4 years ago in a last minute bidding battle.

They are beauties! ::tu::

Sorry, I'm not ready to part with this one just yet.

I would like to own one of those Tony Bose Coffin Jacks but the $300+ most folks are asking is waaaaay rich for my pocketbook. I never thought I'd see the day when I thought $290 for a knife was a bargain. :lol:
