S&M Queen 440C ?

Does anyone know what years Schatt / Queen used 440C ? Thanks
This is the same knife that I reworked.

queen used 440c from the early days as there queen steel up until early the 80s or so then changed to 440a.then in 2002 they started useing 420hc and d2 steel

Question for you on the Queen 400 series steel use....could Queen have used 420 earlier than the 2002 date since I know on the Schatt line the Queen Steel logo was dropped 1995-1996 from the advertising on the Annual Series of knives...

Thanks Imband, That schatt is ats34 of coarse. It actually looks a bit better than that now since Iv worked on it. I have to say its one of my more beloved lock backs.

not sure boggs,but i live about 20 minutes from tittusville and get to the factory at least 1 or 2 times a month and ill ask for u and see if they even know for sure it depends on who is up front watching the store i am sure im gonna have a couple of good questions for them on my next visit
