I would appreciate it if you would keep my mother in your prayers. Her name is Kathryn; she is 83 years old and has cancer of the lymph system. They found out today that it is farther along than they thought it was. Without chemo therapy the doctor said she will last three months to one year. She and dad have decided to go the chemo route, so she starts chemotherapy next week. The downside to that is that it weakens her immune system so much that her body can't fight off infections or other natural ailments.

My parents are both Christians and they believe that when they die they will be in a far better place. Please pray that God would give them both grace to get through this time and healing, if that is God's will.

Thanks guys. Some of my kids are taking it pretty hard, they lost their other grandmother about a year ago and I think they are fearing the worst.

Thanks for your prayers guys.
When we went to visit them last weekend, mom was doing pretty good.
She had a rough day 2 days after chemo, bit was feeling better on Sunday.
They are grateful for all your prayers!
