Please help identify this small knife.

Hello folks! I ran across this knife in a old shoebox out in the garage. Was wondering if anyone could give me any info on it. The main blade says "Stainless Steel Japan". The flat spoonlike blade, which is sharpened on the end, has "REDONIAN" stamped on it. I'm guessing, because of the blunt end on the knife, that it might have something to do with pipe-smoking? Folded it's 3" long, the main blade is 2 1/4" long.

. Yes... looks like a lobster pattern smokers knife. The round, flat end being a pipe tamper. I'm not familiar with the brand at all. Hope to see you on board.

After thinking about this for awhile. I couldn't figure out what the small spoon blade was for. Goes a long ways back but my Maternal grandma dipped snuff. She use to take the tin lid off and stick her little finger in and obtain some of the yuk and then hold it up her nose and snort it. Just wondering if this spoon might be an instrument for modernly dipping snuff. Just a thought. I did find these about subject. Click and reclick the provided url.

i think the flat blade is used to scrape the bowl. my pipe tool has a flat blade that is rounded and dull on the end, won't dig into the bowl.

Yes it's a pipe tool, there are three tools used for pipe smoking: tamper, pick and scraper. The others are just general utility blades, likely a basic knife blade and a nail cleaner/file.
The picture shows some of mine.
