Hi all-
Could one of you knowledgeable folks possibly ID this knife . I have combed the internet and have come up with nothing. I know for a fact that Winchester branded these knives but I dont know the maker .Thanks in advance.

Yup swiped that image from fleabay, forgot to mention I have no knowledge of buyer or seller. But alas I just saw the sellers name in the counterfeit watch forum( spor*****) . Now I am really curious about the origin of this knife.

Cut the new guy some slack...
There are no markings on the blade at all. These were made for Winchester 70's 80's-ish. I just cant find who made them. They are kinda rare , but not that high quality IMHO. Anybody?

Well Bob while we're waiting here for that busload of experts to arrive, how bout taking a look at this ebay listing ? Do you see any family resemblence to your knife?

I agree with you I think China. I was surprised to this represented as USA made by Schrade on fleabay . It may not be possible to know exactly who made these for Winchester back in the 80's but I think its safe to say who ever it was was not stateside.

I dont really see a relation but the profile of the blade is vaguely similar, emphasis on vaguely. But I am a real greenhorn.

Not an expert on these at all but making conversation I have had some Schrades that did in fact bear a strong resemblance to the knife in question.
This statement should not be construed as taking up for the seller in any manner.

My intention was not to open a discussion about any particular seller or anything like that. I am just curious because I have one of these knives and have never even seen a picture of another one until I saw this one on fleabay. So just to be clear I have no interest in anything other than some knowledge of where these were made. Thanks alot guys
