What is the age of this camillus pocket knife

Can anyone tell me about Grand Dad's knife ? I got it from my dad and he got it from his dad.I know it's a camillus, but I don't know from what year.

From my seat, it appears to ne 1941~1946 however the tang stamps are so poor its difficult to say with certainty

What I couldn't come up with was a picture that has the swords stamped on the long blade tang. It is very hard to see some of the blade stamps. The one blade has ????? Camillus Cutlery Co. Camillus 1. The long blade has the sword stamps on the bottem. The other blade has Cutlery Camillus USA.

Sword Brand was Camillus top of the line. For a comparison, Sword Brand was to Camillus as Schatt & Morgan is to Queen. I agree with BH. That appears to be a WWII ('40-'46) tang stamp.

Regardless of the condition the most valuable knives I have in my collection are the ones with history that you can verify. Keep passing it down and note it's wonderful history for future generations. I love the handle material. Use it lovingly.

great old knife, love the end of day multi-colored handles like that and I have to concur with Dave O what a great chance to pass on grand dad's knife to your kids.......I've posted pictures of my grandfathers Case Bradford PA early '20's goldstone two blade tear drop knife that is my favorite knife, I have others more valuable in $$ but none more valuable to me
