Here is something different! Camillus U.S Utility knife. Arrowhead filework, leather punch converted to hook de-gorger, and clear handles with two flies and a spoon bait set in them. This opens a whole new door of possibilities for rehandles. I can set just about anything a customer wants in clear acrylic as a knife handle.

Don't forget the traditional nekkid ladies.

Kaleb, that thing rocks!!!! I'd love to have a set of handles like that on one of my toothpick/fish knives.
I fooled around with an idea kinda like that a few years ago, using a 2-part fiberglass resin and insetting a mosaic pattern with freshwater MOP pieces. It worked so-so, but never did perfect it. Not sure what you used, but i'd say you perfected it!! Very, very nice!!

Actually, the stuff I use Kaleb comes out Emerald Green. Looks real good against the MOP. However, I would love to get ahold of the clear for the way your using it. Not sure what to look for though. (hint, hint ) I tried the stuff that they pour over clock faces and such. It's almost clear, but still has an amber tint to it. I couldn't seem to get it to polish out after shaping it either. Also tried Epoxy once, but the bubbles after stirring it were unexceptable. Most went away, but still didn't have that crystal clear effect like your getting.
I'll get a pic of a set of these fiberglass resin/MOP slabs I made and post them. Like I said, I never did perfect it, but it does look good.

a good mix ratio is VERY important to get the correct hardness so it will polish right. hobby lobby sells it if you got one nearby

I'll hafta give the polymer stuff another try. Maybe I was off on the mix.
Here's a pic of the fiberglass handles. They're still rough, but will shape and polish out pretty nice in the end. The resin does come out of the can a brownish color, but turns emerald green as it flashes off. Nowhere near the effect you got from that OP knife, that thing just makes me grin everytime I look at it. It's a real work of art, Kaleb!
